Last updated: August 26, 2026This policy explains what information Surgent Labs collects, why we collect it, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect the minimum we need to reply to you and run our services, we don't sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
What we collect
When you request a quote or email us, we collect what you send: your name, email address, business name, and the details of your project. Our website also collects basic analytics such as pages visited, approximate location from your IP address, and the device and browser you use. We don't collect more than we need, and we don't buy data about you from anyone else.
How we use it
We use your contact details to reply to your request and, if we work together, to deliver the project. We use analytics to understand which pages are useful and which need work. We don't sell your information, rent it, or share it with advertisers. If you asked for a quote, you get a reply about your quote, not a drip campaign.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers we need to operate: our email provider, hosting provider, analytics tool, and scheduling tool if you book a call. Each one processes your data on our instructions. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies for analytics and to remember form progress. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block cookies in your browser settings and the site will still work.
How long we keep it
Quote requests are kept for up to two years so we can pick up the conversation if you come back. Client project records are kept for as long as we work together, plus the period required for tax and legal purposes. Analytics data is kept in aggregate form.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@surgentlabs.com and we'll handle it within 30 days. Depending on your state, you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA; we honor those requests for everyone regardless of where you live.
